Tout Suite The Travel Kitty flew to NY to share travel tips on Better TV.  The show is syndicated across the US and airs this Friday so set your Tivo to Tout!  His favorite tip:  Allow your pet to discover his travel bag as his "safe" place so he will feel secure as he travels.  Pawsome!

While Tout took in the sights, he had specatators of his own.   Woof!   No problem.  Tout has 2 big dogs at home and he was in his "safe" place.   Do your cats or dogs have any travel tips or stories....  Fun star sightings are good too!

I'm Tout Suite, The Travel Kitty...  I flew to NY, my person and me....  There I met Mary Poppin's star!  Never know who you'll find when you go wide and far....   Crossed the whole country, now I'm in LA....   From North Carolina!  MEOW  What a day!
Woof!  I flew from LA to Newark, NJ to walk with Luke, Hudson and Murphy and loved it!!!!  My walk across New England was Pawsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh, thank you Continental airlines for sponsoring my flight!!
I love riding in horse trailers and feeling the wind.  My mane looks extra magnificent when the wind blows it.

We are inadvertently training our cats. We've had a number of packages arrive and have a bunch of cardboard boxes lying around that the cats love to crawl to curl up in. They think its fun when we pick the boxes up and carry the cats around the house.

I'm Tout Suite The Travel Kitteeeeee.  Flown 100,000 miles, my person and me.  I've learned when I travel, the weather it changes.  And my schedule this whirl also rearranges.  So, whether you travel by plane, train or car, where ever you go, that's where you are....

Tout Suite The Travel Kitty Packing for LA! ♥ Megan Hearts Pets ♥

Tout Suite The Travel Kitty and I are flying to LA tomorrow giving us over 110,000 miles together!  And we've learned a lot in all these travels.  You have to make an airline reservation for your pet in advance, and there is a charge of around $100.00 (one way) depending upon the airline.  You have to make the reservation on the phone for your pet, not the internet, and no more sitting in the bulkhead!  Your cabin pet has to fit under the seat in front of you, so your pet travel bag has to fit within FAA regulation size, which is usually around 10x11x19, but be sure to confirm the size with the airline you are flying.  No curbside checkin.  You have to go in and stand in line, so allow plenty of time.  And when you get to security, kitty or pup comes out of the bag!  So prepare for this. Remove your shoes, coats, computers, jewelry, etc first, then take your pet out of his little condo.  Don't get caught with the cat out of the bag!  Imagine the bag gone away through the x ray machine, and now you have to take everything off while holding a cat.  Yikes!!!!!!!!!!  And before you fly, get your pet used to his bag.  Put one of your worn T-shirts in the bag and let your pet go in naturally.  Or if he doesn't wander in, put him in calmly and don't close the door.
