Tout Suite The Travel Kitty flew to NY to share travel tips on Better TV.  The show is syndicated across the US and airs this Friday so set your Tivo to Tout!  His favorite tip:  Allow your pet to discover his travel bag as his "safe" place so he will feel secure as he travels.  Pawsome!

Tout likes his bag so much he decided to take in the sights in Central Park...

And Hang with Mary Poppins star, Adam Fiorentino - another world traveler

While Tout took in the sights, he had specatators of his own.   Woof!   No problem.  Tout has 2 big dogs at home and he was in his "safe" place.   Do your cats or dogs have any travel tips or stories....  Fun star sightings are good too!

Daniel Aspanall, after not seeing his gorilla friend for 5 years after returning him to the wild, reunites with him in the jungle.  Daniel grew up in a family who worked with exotic animals with the goal of placing them back into the wild and saving their natural living spaces.   His Gorilla friend now has wives and children.  Here is the actual reunion footage.  Really worth the watch.  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/37272262#37272262 Daniel talks about how wild animals are to be respected as wild and he really didn't know how his friend or his wives would react - if they would attack.  But Daniel also talks about their "love" and how they remember.  The gorilla gently hugged him and didn't want to let him go.  Have you experienced a loving reunion like this?  I know I have.  PS.  My mother has been in the hospital so I have not posted in a while.  I missed everyone!  Tout Suite flew with me to North Carolina and he says Meow Ya'll!

Super Smiley, Hudson, and Murphy got to share more about their missions with WWLP, a Massachusetts based Television Station.  Video link at: http://www.wwlp.com/dpp/news/2-dogs-trek-2000-miles-to-fight-cancer   Thank you Mike for driving all the way down to Conn. to share the story.  Mike is a Senior Producer for the station and most importantly, he is a Mega Dog lover!  Pawsome!  Dogs touch us in such powerful ways.  They teach us things, make us laugh, and give us missions.  Does your dog have a mission or did he give you one?

Hey everybody!  We had such an amazing journey on the New England leg of Luke, Hudson and Murphy's walk across the US to end cancer.  Super Smiley loved it, and YAHOO NEWS did a Pawsome article on us joining the boys,    http://news.yahoo.com/s/prweb/20100414/bs_prweb/prweb3871524_1    A Super Thank You to Continental Airlines for sponsoring Smiley's flight.  And just today an article shared how dog saliva may hold the key to preventing cancer!    http://www.aolhealth.com/2010/04/16/dogs-licks-could-help-find-new-treatments-for-rare-cancers/     "Rare diseases in humans also show up in dogs," said program director Mark Neff, M.D., in a statement. "By studying the DNA of canines, we expect to more quickly discover the genomic causes of disease and more quickly find ways to better treat dogs, and people."   Guardian and Spirit, my 15 year companions, were taken by cancer, and it would be perfect if dogs helped us find the cause and cure. We all know dogs helped mankind evolve and survive, and I believe they are our teachers and healers.  What do you believe?

Smiley and I joined up with Luke and Hudson and Murphy to walk for canine cancer awareness and for the throw away dogs. This is our first night and we are looking for a campsite. Things got a little sticky....  Shoes sucked off in the mud, hard to stand up, Oh, you just have to see it...

You all know I'm joining Luke on his 2 Dogs 2000 Miles walk across the country to raise awareness for canine cancer.  Well today is the day!  I started packing and in the process I learned a lot.  I love being outside with Starfire and walking in nature with Angel and Smiley.   So I thought I was ready for the trip, but packing was another story!!!  Watch the video and let us now about your hiking or camping experiences with your pets.  If you have any advice, FEEL FREE TO SHARE!  And a big THANK YOU to Continental Airlines for sponsoring Smiley's flight so he can be a spokes dog for Throw Aways in Baltimore, New Jersey and Connecticut!

THE COOLEST THING YOU CAN DO... IS GET A THROW AWAY DOG.  MUTTS ROCK!!  IT'S TRUE!!  Super Smiley's music video now has official Super Smiley Choreography and Smiley Dancers for Throw Away Dogs!  How Pawsome is that!!!  We opened Woofstock, the Beverly Hills Dog Festival, this year, and then drove in a taxi loaded with Smiley Dancers across the city to Downtown LA to Dance at Operation Fitness, where he spread the word of adopting dogs and of how dogs contribute to our fitness and "Happy Chemicals."   Will you dance for the throw aways with Smiley?  Get out your video cameras and bust some Smiley moves!  Post them here and I will edit them into a Super Pawsome video!!!!!

Luke Robinson is walking across the US with his 2 Great Pyrenees to bring awareness to Canine Cancer. (I posted this 2x.  The first time it didn't play and this one works)  I interviewed them here and Luke gives a great snapshot of their adventure.  Even if you only have time to watch a  minute or two it is really interesting.  We later met in NY at the Westminster festivities....  Then they asked Smiley and me to join their walk.  Guardian and Spirit were very important members of my pack who succumbed to cancer and passed away three days from one another after fifteen years of life with us.   So, Smiley and I are really honored to walk for our Guardian and Spirit.  I am leaving Saturday for Baltimore and we are getting Smiley's plans settled.  We will keep you posted!  Luke finishes his journey June in Boston.  Everyone is invited!  You can come walk the last mile!   What do you think?
